Bristle Bot - Simple Robot

  • Creating easy Science projects in Robotics for class 6th, 7th and 8th is exciting and fun. This DIY Robotics project on a simple, vibrating robot is an excellent Science fair project idea brought to you by ProjectsforSchool.com.
  • This brushbot or bristlebot is a very simplified version of a walking robot. It’s one of the most popular DIY Science activity because of its simplicity.
  • This is a simple solid bodied robot which has bristles on its lower surface. The bristle mass is oriented to incline them away from vertical.
  • When the robot is vibrated, the vibrations gradually move the bot using the bristles. Think of flagellated unicellular organisms as a biological analogy!
  • This project will also help in demonstrating the concept of a vibrating motor for that matter.
